Instruction:

1. Pour 25g of condensed mk into a cup. Open the device and unscrew to remove the filter’s top screen.

2. Place 25g ( approx. 4 heap tablespoon) into ur “phin” (filter) and place over a glass. Replace the screen and turn it until it is comfortably tight.

3. Pour hot water into the device until it is about 1/4 full. Wait 10 seconds until all the water flows through, you need to tighten the filter more.

4. Fill the filter with hot water. Place the cover on and wait. Typically about 3 minutes. The water should not stream through, it should drip.

5. Once done, remove phin and place on lid to capture drips. Enjoy your fresh brewed cup of coffee!

FAQ:

1. I used to bring back Vietnamese Coffee from Vietnam, but I just can’t brew to the same taste that I tasted at Vietnam. Why?

The most common answer to this problem based on our experience is, the amount of coffee you put. Most of the people worried that the coffee will be too thick and tend to put less coffee than instructed. Increase the amount of coffee you use, you should be able to get the taste exactly like what you drink in Vietnam. Remember, Vietnamese used to drink thick and strong cup of coffee.

Furthermore if it’s an iced coffee that you intend to make, please put in more condensed milk and ground coffee, as the ice melt, you will get the perfect taste that you addicted to!

2. I waited for too long for the water to drip, it’s not even dripping!

You screwed the screen of the filter too tight. Try to unscrew it to a comfortable level. The water should drip nicely.

3. Can I use normal coffee machine to brew a Vietnamese coffee?

You may, But not recommended.
